There are many training programs out there that claim to improve your athlete’s skills but if those programs are subjecting your athletes to particular exercises without their functional movement quality being tested, then those programs could be putting your kids at risk. Programs are putting too much emphasis on skill development without knowing if the athletes’ body is actually able to do the required movements. The result is that athletes don’t get an Off-Season anymore to unwind, recuperate, and prepare to improve for next season.
